FAQs
Wild yam cream has been used traditionally to revitalize and nourish skin.
We advise using wild yam cream in consultation with your health care practitioner. If negative symptoms during menopause or menarche persist or worsen, consult a health care practitioner. If you are taking hormone-containing medications such as progesterone preparations, oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy please consult with your health care professional before using wild yam cream. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have hormone sensitive conditions such as uterine, endometrial, breast, or ovarian cancer as well as endometriosis and uterine fibroids. Do not use if you have a protein S deficiency as wild yam may increase the risk of thrombosis.
Wild Yam has traditionally been applied twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, on the following locations being careful to rotate the location for each application: inner thighs, stomach, and inner arms. Women stop using wild yam cream during the week of their period and renew application afterward. If a woman is in menopause, they use wild yam cream as set out above three weeks on, and one week off.
Chaste berry and hibiscus are in our wild yam cream and have been traditionally used to nourish and revitalize skin.
